The Short Stuff Film Festival gives young filmmakers 48 hours to make their next masterpiece, but with very specific requirements – items, locations and quotes that must appear in their films to make them eligible for judging.
Competitors must use four of these items; the Items Film, made by a professional in the same time frame as a demonstration, uses all of them. David wrote, shot and directed two consecutive Items films in 2015 and 2016, and then featured on the festival’s judging panel in 2021 and 2022.
