“Intellectual rigour combined with pathos and side-splitting hilarity ⭐⭐⭐⭐” – TimeOut Sydney

“This show is very funny and very ‘now’…a clever examination of gender, power, domination, sexuality, personal desires, Beyonce’s “Halo” and macaroons. ⭐⭐⭐⭐” – Adelaide Theatre Guide

Carly and Troy Do A Doll’s House is a show about theatre, about how we view and revere classics, about what we want, what the audience wants but mainly what Carly and Troy want. In just one hour, Carly and Troy will show you their own, personal adaption of the Ibsen classic A Doll’s House. The realist masterwork will be dissected, torn apart and inhabited, culminating in a mash-up of pop-culture, drag, feminist analysis and bitchin’ dance moves.

Boasting sell out seasons in Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra and Melbourne, Carly and Troy Do A Doll’s House also picked up a Bank SA Emerging Artist Award and a High Commendation at the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2014.
